Frequently Asked Questions

On the timer screen, pause the timer if it’s running, then tap the Reset button (history icon) in the bottom navigation bar. This restores the tournament to its initial state. A confirmation dialog appears before the reset is applied.

Can I run the same tournament on multiple devices?

Section titled “Can I run the same tournament on multiple devices?”

Yes. Sign into the same account on each device. Your tournaments sync automatically through the cloud, and changes on one device appear on the others in real time. See Cloud sync & accounts for details.

Can someone else help me edit a tournament?

Section titled “Can someone else help me edit a tournament?”

Yes. Open the tournament’s Settings screen, tap Permissions, and add the co-editor’s email address (exactly as it appears on their Profile screen). They’ll get edit access as soon as they connect to the tournament — typically by scanning the QR code on your timer screen or tapping a link you’ve sent them. Their account email must be verified, unless they signed in with Google or Apple. See Sharing with co-editors for the full walkthrough.

Enable the QR code from the “Show…” menu on the timer screen. Anyone who scans the code gets a live, read-only view of your timer. See QR code sharing for the full guide.

How do I import players from another tournament?

Section titled “How do I import players from another tournament?”

On the Players screen, tap the people icon in the top right and select “Import players.” You can import from a CSV file or from other tournaments on your device.

Yes. The Stats screen has share and download buttons that export all player statistics as a CSV file. The file is compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, and other spreadsheet applications.

In the tournament Settings screen, set your expected players, starting chips, chip set, and blind growth rate. The app generates a complete blind structure based on these values. The structure updates in real time as you adjust the settings. See Setting up a tournament and Blind structure for more details.

Poker Club HQ supports four chop methods: Even chop (equal split), Chip chop (proportional to stacks), ICM chop (Independent Chip Model equity), and Custom chop (manual amounts). See Payouts & chops for details on each method.

Yes. Everything runs locally on your device. Cloud sync is optional — if you’re offline, changes are saved locally and sync to the cloud when you reconnect. The timer, player management, and all other features work without an internet connection.

Poker Club HQ is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese (Mandarin), and Norwegian. The app follows your device’s language setting.
